Product Details
Manual wafer type stainless steel butterfly valve
Product Introduction
This is a compact, hand-operated valve, consisting of stainless steel wafer-type body, disc valve plate, resilient seat, stem and handle.
Rotating the handle drives the valve plate to rotate 0°–90°, controlling fluid flow in pipelines. Its wafer structure clamps directly between pipe flanges (no separate flanges needed), saving installation space greatly. Made of stainless steel, it features excellent corrosion resistance and suits various complex media conditions.

Product Detail
I. Product Parameters
1. Material Parameters
• Valve Body/Panel: 304 Stainless Steel (CF8), 316 Stainless Steel (CF3M, resistant to strong corrosion)
• Valve Seat: EPDM (Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer Rubber, resistant to acids and alkalis), PTFE (Polytetrafluoroethylene, temperature resistance -20℃~180℃), FKM (Fluororubber, high temperature resistance)
• Valve Stem: 304 Stainless Steel
• Handle: Stainless Steel / Carbon Steel with Powder Coating
2. Specification Parameters
• Nominal Diameter: DN40~DN300 (corresponding to 1.5"~12")
• Nominal Pressure: PN10, PN16, PN25 (suitable for medium and low pressure pipelines)
• Connection Method: Clamp-on type (clamped between pipe flanges with bolts)
3. Operating Parameters
• Operation Method: Manual 90° rotation of the handle to achieve full open/full close
• Operating Temperature: -20℃~120℃ (EPDM) PTFE seat); -20℃~180℃
• Sealing grade: GB/T 13927-2008 Class II (soft seal)
II. Product Advantages
• Convenient installation and small space occupation: The wafer-type structure eliminates the need for a matching flange, directly clamping between pipe flanges, resulting in high installation efficiency, especially suitable for pipeline layouts with limited space.
• Excellent corrosion resistance: The 304/316 stainless steel valve body can withstand water, weak acids and alkalis, seawater, and other media, resulting in a long service life and low maintenance costs.
• Simple and labor-saving operation: Opening and closing can be completed with a 90° rotation of the handle. The operating torque is low, making manual operation convenient and suitable for scenarios with frequent switching.
• Low flow resistance: When fully open, the valve plate is parallel to the fluid direction, ensuring a straight flow path, minimizing pressure loss, and reducing pipeline energy consumption.
• High cost-effectiveness: Simple structure, low manufacturing cost, and the durability of stainless steel combine to offer superior overall cost-effectiveness compared to other valves of the same specifications.
III. Product Applications
• Chemical industry: Pipelines for conveying weak acid and weak alkali solutions and chemical raw materials (316 material model is suitable for highly corrosive media).
• Food and pharmaceutical industry: Pipeline control for food processing and pharmaceutical pure water systems. The stainless steel material meets sanitary requirements, eliminating the risk of media contamination.
• Water treatment industry: On/off control of medium and low pressure pipelines in waterworks and sewage treatment plants, suitable for compact equipment layouts with clamp-on installations.
• HVAC: Branch pipe switches for central air conditioning and heating systems, easy to manually adjust, suitable for residential/commercial building piping.
• Marine Engineering: Marine piping, seawater desalination pretreatment piping (316 stainless steel, seawater corrosion resistant).
