Product Details
Pneumatic Threaded Ball Valve
Product Introduction
This automated on/off/regulating valve consists of a stainless steel threaded body and pneumatic actuator, paired with solenoid valve and optional positioner.
Powered by compressed air, it drives the ball core to rotate 90° for rapid open/close; the optional positioner accepts 4-20mA signals for precise flow control. Threaded connection enables flange-free easy installation, featuring fast response and suitability for frequent operation in industrial fluid systems.

I. Product Parameters
1. Material Parameters
• Valve Body / Valve Core: 304 Stainless Steel (marked "CF8"), 316 Stainless Steel (marked "CF3M", resistant to strong corrosion); Cast Steel (WCB, suitable for general operating conditions)
• Seals: PTFE (Polytetrafluoroethylene, temperature resistance -20℃~180℃), NBR (Nitrile Butadiene Rubber, temperature resistance -20℃~120℃), Metal Hard Seal (temperature resistance -40℃~450℃)
• Pneumatic Actuator: Cast aluminum housing (lightweight, rust-proof), piston structure
2. Specification Parameters
• Nominal Diameter: DN15~DN100 (corresponding to 1/2"~4")
• Nominal Pressure: PN16, PN25, PN40 (suitable for medium and low pressure pipelines)
• Connection Method: Internal thread / External thread (suitable for BSP, NPT, G) (Standard thread)
• Actuator air supply pressure: 0.4~0.7MPa (compressed air)
3. Control and Protection Parameters
• Control type: On/off type (equipped with a 2-position 5-way solenoid valve), regulating type (equipped with an electric positioner, receiving 4-20mA signals)
• Action mode: Single-acting (spring return, returns to position upon air loss), double-acting (remains in position upon air loss)
• Protection level: Valve body IP65, actuator standard IP65, optional IP67
• Explosion-proof option: Optional explosion-proof solenoid valve + explosion-proof positioner (Ex d II BT4/CT6)
II. Product Advantages
•High degree of automation: Pneumatic drive enables remote centralized control. When paired with a solenoid valve, it can be linked with PLC and DCS systems, adapting to unattended production lines and reducing labor costs.
•Convenient installation and maintenance: The threaded interface directly connects to the pipeline, eliminating the need for welding or large tools for installation and disassembly; the actuator and valve body use a flange connection, facilitating disassembly and replacement, and making it easy to perform later maintenance and replacement of seals and valve cores.
• Fast Response: The 90° rotary opening and closing structure, combined with a pneumatic actuator, results in a short switching time (typically 0.5~3 seconds), suitable for applications requiring rapid on/off switching.
• Flexible Adaptability: Single-acting/double-acting actuators are available; the single-acting model features automatic reset upon air loss, enhancing system safety; the stainless steel construction is corrosion-resistant and suitable for various media including water, oil, weak acids, and weak alkalis; explosion-proof configuration allows for use in flammable and explosive environments.
• Reliable Sealing and Low Resistance: The ball valve core provides unobstructed flow when fully open, resulting in low fluid pressure loss; the PTFE seal offers excellent sealing performance, eliminating leakage risk under medium and low pressure conditions.
III. Product Applications
• Chemical and Pharmaceutical Industries: Automatic on/off control of chemical raw material transportation and pharmaceutical pure water/liquid pipelines; the 316 stainless steel construction meets corrosion resistance and hygiene requirements.
• Food and Beverage Industries: Raw material transportation pipelines for beverage bottling and food processing; suitable for automated production lines with frequent on/off cycles, eliminating the risk of media contamination.
• Water Treatment: Piping control for small-scale wastewater treatment equipment and pure water machines; threaded connection adapters for integrated installation; pneumatic control for automated start/stop.
• Mechanical Equipment Support: Auxiliary piping control for hydraulic systems, air compressors, and refrigeration equipment; fast response, compact size, and easy equipment integration.
• HVAC: Branch piping control for central air conditioning and heating systems; integrated with temperature control systems for automatic on/off switching and temperature regulation.
